Childhood holiday memories at Marshall Field's
Heather Donohue with childhood Christmas stocking

Bio

Heather Donohue has been dreaming up and selling crafts since childhood. If social media had existed, you could look up blog posts about the pom pom business budding from her fourth-grade school desk. Or pin an Instagram pic of her latest polymer clay Santa face magnets.  Or re-tweet about the craft sale where she’s selling miniature polymer clay food. With her mom.

These days, there are blog posts about Christmas stockings and wedding favors, tweets about fleece guys and sequins, and Instagram pics about velvet acorns and fairytale mushrooms.

Heather’s work has appeared in Redbook, Condé Nast's Brides "Aisle Say" blog,  New Jersey Bride, Mpls. St. Paul Magazine, Craftzine.com blog, supernaturale.cominhabitots.com, and newyorkmetro.com.

After half a lifetime on the east coast, her craft lab is now in Minneapolis, where she lives with her husband and their nine-year-old twins.

Verdigreen in Montclair, New Jersey and I Like You in Minneapolis, Minnesota carry a selection of Heather Donohue Crafts.
